Elvis at 5:00am...Well, of Course.

This was mother's weekend here at Purdue University...so you know what that means: hundreds of women in their mid-forties stumbling around with their drunk daughters in high heels and short dresses, lol.

We started the night at my friend Carlene's house for a couple beers before we headed to the bars and they went to a party. They were invited to a "Fucked Up Disney Characters" party and were all dressed up as slutty chimney sweeps. It was interesting.

Nick, Sasha, and I ended up at the Neon Cactus hanging out with Jeffrey and drinking $2 Coors Lights. The funny thing about beer is that some nights it just really doesn't do the trick and last night was one of those nights. After my 6th beer and realizing that I still felt COMPLETELY sober I decided to go for the $3.50 Long Island special. One and a half of those and I was set for the night (or so I thought). I'm not positive that a Long Island has gin in it, but this morning when I woke up, that is ALL I could taste.

Anyway - back to last night. The picture for this post is from the Cactus - the guy with the white hair was that girl's grandfather and he boogie-woogied his bugle boy all night long. (Also, on the left, is Jeffrey helping them down off the speaker.)

I should also mention that there was a young lady there wearing Apple Bottom jeans AND boots with fur.....and a pink shirt about 2 sizes too small. So, not only did she look like a cliche from December of last year, she also looked like a stuffed sausage. It just got better when the DJ actually played "Low" and that bitch thought she owned the dance floor...even though everyone she tried to dance with avoided her.

Anyway, Sasha dropped Nick and me off back at Nick's place after a quick stop at Village Bottle Shop for a bottle of Sailor Jerry (good decision-making skills were obviously in full-effect). We quickly settled into the sofa with a couple cocktails and Elvis on the DVD player...until 5:00am. Long night.

Hillary Clinton was out last night in Indiana, too:

Please take the end of that video with a grain of salt - I didn't make it, and although I am not an Obama supporter, I don't hate him as much as whoever edited the video does, lol.
