Elvis at 5:00am...Well, of Course.

This was mother's weekend here at Purdue University...so you know what that means: hundreds of women in their mid-forties stumbling around with their drunk daughters in high heels and short dresses, lol.

We started the night at my friend Carlene's house for a couple beers before we headed to the bars and they went to a party. They were invited to a "Fucked Up Disney Characters" party and were all dressed up as slutty chimney sweeps. It was interesting.

Nick, Sasha, and I ended up at the Neon Cactus hanging out with Jeffrey and drinking $2 Coors Lights. The funny thing about beer is that some nights it just really doesn't do the trick and last night was one of those nights. After my 6th beer and realizing that I still felt COMPLETELY sober I decided to go for the $3.50 Long Island special. One and a half of those and I was set for the night (or so I thought). I'm not positive that a Long Island has gin in it, but this morning when I woke up, that is ALL I could taste.

Anyway - back to last night. The picture for this post is from the Cactus - the guy with the white hair was that girl's grandfather and he boogie-woogied his bugle boy all night long. (Also, on the left, is Jeffrey helping them down off the speaker.)

I should also mention that there was a young lady there wearing Apple Bottom jeans AND boots with fur.....and a pink shirt about 2 sizes too small. So, not only did she look like a cliche from December of last year, she also looked like a stuffed sausage. It just got better when the DJ actually played "Low" and that bitch thought she owned the dance floor...even though everyone she tried to dance with avoided her.

Anyway, Sasha dropped Nick and me off back at Nick's place after a quick stop at Village Bottle Shop for a bottle of Sailor Jerry (good decision-making skills were obviously in full-effect). We quickly settled into the sofa with a couple cocktails and Elvis on the DVD player...until 5:00am. Long night.

Hillary Clinton was out last night in Indiana, too:

Please take the end of that video with a grain of salt - I didn't make it, and although I am not an Obama supporter, I don't hate him as much as whoever edited the video does, lol.

Fuck Off

Fuck this night.

Fuck the people that think I am not good enough because I am gay.

Fuck the people that put up with the people that think I am not good enough because I am gay.

Fuck every person that thinks less of me because of who I sleep with.

Fuck you if you are reading this and thinking anything bad about me based solely on the fact that you now know I am a homosexual.

Fuck the bar I was at where the male bartender ignored me for 5 minutes and when the female bartender asked if he was ignoring me he flipped his wrist.

FUCK THAT.

n. One with an irrational fear of homosexuality and homosexuals. For the most part these people seem to have little actual experience with the aforementioned.

New Rule...

So, I've decided that these pictures do not all have to be OF me...just about me. So, as I prepare to venture out on this Friday night I leave you with a picture of where I do my writing, surfing, chatting, ...um... well, let's just leave the list at that. ;-)

I guess you can tell a little bit about me from the picture. I have an enormous monitor that I have no use for. I use Windows Vista - and I don't have any problem with it. I have a pile of Light-Scribe CDs that I don't know how to use. I have an HRC sticker that I have not put on anything. I have one of those cool projection clocks that tells me how cold it is outside (42 degrees). But...I know me - what can YOU tell about me just from this picture? Leave your answers in comments. I'm very curious as to how telling this picture might be, lol.

OOPS...Almost Made It.....

I really thought I was going to make it home to post this before midnight on Thursday...just missed it. Have no fear, though, Intermittent Reader. This picture was taken at 10:18 pm on Thursday, so it still counts.

I spent this Thursday as I spend all Thursdays: playing pool with the boys at Nick's. Tonight it was just Nick, Sasha, and me...and I managed to beat each of them.

In other news, though...one of the 2 boys I am sleeping with got me sick. (fucker) I just don't know if it was "Ex's BF" or "I Know What You Did Last Summer". Call me a whore - I have my reasons, lol. I'll explain more later...

Anyway - I have to work at 9:00, so I'm going to be a good boy and head to bed. Stay tuned tomorrow. :-)

Well, That Wasn't On Purpose...

SO...that is the picture that you get when i drop my phone on my desk as i click the button, and I'm too lazy to take another one. Blogosphere, meet my left arm...Left arm - blogosphere. Now, you've met and I hope you can be friends.

Just like this pic, today was a worthless day. We spent the whole day at the store preparing for our Regional Sales Director to come tomorrow. It's not such a huge deal for us - our store is always in near perfect condition - but it's easy to start freaking out over the smallest things. In actuality, our RSD is a pretty cool guy that doesn't stress on us at all when he comes to our location...I just think we like to throw ourselves into a fit every once in a while, lol.

Tomorrow is another 9:00-9:00 day (thanks, TP), so my picture will probably come from work...we'll see if I feel like disguising the store or not, lol.

Screw You, Jesus-Boy

First, let's talk about the picture. That's what time I got home from work tonight...almost 9:15pm. Not such a horrible thought until you take into consideration the fact that i went to work at 9:00am.

Now, let's talk about the "why" of it. We have an associate at work that I'll call TP (because - well, that's what we call him at work). He was hired solely on the recommendation of my boss' daughter who worked with him at another job before she moved out of state. Now, I am actually really good friends with Ashley (said boss' daughter) and I took her recommendation pretty seriously. Well, after working with him for about a week, I found him insufferable...and I was soon joined in my opinion by the rest of the staff.

Now, the fact that he is a little Jesus-Boy is not why i actually disliked him...it didn't help, but it wasn't the reason. The real reason had a lot to do with his assertion that even the most mundane daily tasks could be "Sweet, Bro!", "Totally monster, Bro!", or "So incredibly beast, Bro!". I am pretty sure he was aware of the fact that I am not, in fact, his "bro", and this is not the time to get on a full rant against him. The point of this is that he came in yesterday and quit - saying that he would work Monday and Tuesday night (his last scheduled days of the week). Well, wouldn't you know that at 3:00 today he called the store saying that he couldn't work his 5:00-9:00 tonight...meaning that yours truly had to cover it.

So, I would like to thank TP for his future absence from my existence. Hopefully you will never know how much it means to me.

You Ready? Yeah - Me Neither...

Well, here we go. This is me waking up on the morning of my 28th birthday. I don't have any big plans or goals for this year, but I think this little project will inject some regularity into an otherwise pretty unpredictable life. (If I can actually stick with it.)

I did this whole blogging thing previously - for about 18 months i told the world exactly what I thought of it while writing The Tragic Demise of an American Dream. Let's see if actually having a purpose can make me stick with this.

Anyway - Welcome to this little adventure...feel free to comment (I love them) or question (I answer them) and come back to see what's going on.
