Screw You, Jesus-Boy

First, let's talk about the picture. That's what time I got home from work tonight...almost 9:15pm. Not such a horrible thought until you take into consideration the fact that i went to work at 9:00am.

Now, let's talk about the "why" of it. We have an associate at work that I'll call TP (because - well, that's what we call him at work). He was hired solely on the recommendation of my boss' daughter who worked with him at another job before she moved out of state. Now, I am actually really good friends with Ashley (said boss' daughter) and I took her recommendation pretty seriously. Well, after working with him for about a week, I found him insufferable...and I was soon joined in my opinion by the rest of the staff.

Now, the fact that he is a little Jesus-Boy is not why i actually disliked him...it didn't help, but it wasn't the reason. The real reason had a lot to do with his assertion that even the most mundane daily tasks could be "Sweet, Bro!", "Totally monster, Bro!", or "So incredibly beast, Bro!". I am pretty sure he was aware of the fact that I am not, in fact, his "bro", and this is not the time to get on a full rant against him. The point of this is that he came in yesterday and quit - saying that he would work Monday and Tuesday night (his last scheduled days of the week). Well, wouldn't you know that at 3:00 today he called the store saying that he couldn't work his 5:00-9:00 tonight...meaning that yours truly had to cover it.

So, I would like to thank TP for his future absence from my existence. Hopefully you will never know how much it means to me.

No, that's a different watch...this is the one that Holly got me for Christmas last year (while we were drunk on margaritas from Pepe's, LOL)

And, I guess I do pick up the slack a lot of times, lol - didn't think about it...
